ARC Station T2
Tooling and controls specified together for a single station, from the part study through to handover.

Tooling and controls specified together for a single station, from the part study through to handover.

One station, specified end to end: the tooling that touches the part and the controls that drive it, quoted and built together rather than bought separately and made to agree afterwards.
It suits a line that works, apart from one place where it does not.
This is the smallest piece of work we take on. If the fix is a new set of jaws on tooling you already own, we will say so and quote that instead.
The station handles parts to 80 kg, with tooling stroke from 10 to 250 mm depending on the geometry. A cycle completes in under 1.2 seconds, and placement holds to ±0.03 mm.
Those figures are set against your part during the study, not taken from a catalogue page.
The study starts with a sample you send: weight, finish, tolerance, and the way the part sits when it reaches the station. Stroke, force and approach angle are chosen from those measurements, and the sample goes back with the quote.
The station drops into an existing line rather than replacing it. Fixing points, services and signal routes are surveyed before anything is cut, and the drawings you get back match what was installed.
Where the station shares a safety circuit with its neighbours, the assessment covers the whole altered area.
Downtime for the swap is quoted as a window, not an estimate. If the station cannot be in and running inside it, we say so before the order rather than on the day.
Tooling faces and guides are the parts that wear, and both are replaceable inside a changeover slot. The station keeps running on the same frame.
The engineer who specified it stays reachable after handover. There is no first-line queue to pass through.
Wear faces are cut from stock profiles, so a replacement set is days rather than weeks. Their drawings are in the handover pack, and you are free to have them cut elsewhere.

What engineers usually ask before they order a unit.
Are the drawings ours to keep?
Yes. As-built drawings, part numbers and wear-face profiles are in the handover pack, and you are free to have spares cut elsewhere.
Will it work with the controller we already have?
Yes. Everything we ship reports on plain digital IO and IO-Link, and we wire to the tag names your line already uses rather than ours.
Can we specify the mounting flange?
The standard is ISO 9409-1-50, which fits most wrists without an adapter. If yours is different, send the drawing and we machine to it.
What arrives in the crate?
The unit, a spare set of wear faces, the measured test sheet, the wiring interface and the as-built drawings. Nothing is sent on afterwards.
Do the figures on this page apply to every unit?
They are the range. Each unit ships with a sheet carrying its own measured payload, repeatability and cycle time, taken from the rig run before it was crated.
Can the jaws be changed for a different part?
Yes. Contact faces are cut against a part number and swapped at the station. A new part usually means a new set of faces, not a new unit.
