Kiln's coffee tubes stand out on a crowded shelf

A small roaster moved from kraft bags to printed tubes with a one-way valve. The tube became their shelf signature.

The box

76 mm paper tube, lined, valve lid

Why a tube

Kiln’s single-origin bags were lost among dozens of kraft bags on café shelves. They wanted something that stood up and still kept beans fresh.

Keeping coffee fresh

A glassine lining and a one-way degassing valve in the lid. We sent two lid options and a freshness test log from the converter.

The label

A terracotta wrap with a cream band and the origin in large type. One label design, with the origin changed per SKU on the same print run.

Results

Café shelf sales rose 22% in the first quarter after the switch, with the same beans and the same price.
