Designing a case you want to hold
Why the case is a pebble, why the hinge is metal and why the light is blue.

Most earbud cases are designed to be small. We wanted one that is also nice to hold, because you pick it up more times a day than your keys.
A pebble, not a box
The case is a soft squircle with no sharp edges. It fits a closed hand, sits flat on a desk and opens with one thumb. The lid is held by magnets strong enough to survive a coat pocket.
The light
There is one light on the front. It glows blue when the buds are charged, amber when they are not, and stays off the rest of the time. Quiet includes the things you look at.
