Quiet Weather

Quiet Weather started with a single coat: a cocoon cut from one piece of double-faced wool, with no lining and no shoulder seam. Everything else in the collection was built around how that coat moves.

What changed

We took the shoulder out of the tailoring and put the weight into the hem. Trousers are wider and cut on the straight grain; satin is cut on the bias so it falls rather than clings.

The show ran without music. You heard the shoes, the rail and the room, which is how a collection sounds in the atelier.
