Enemy XXX 2 asked for one thing: no posed family line-ups that take an hour. We did the groups in eleven minutes on the townhouse steps and spent the rest of the day following the lunch, the speeches and a very long game of cards.
The ten minutes before
Adaeze's sister fixed the lace on her veil by the window on the landing. It was the only soft light in the building, so I stayed there for a whole roll. The portrait on this page is frame seven of that roll.
Printing the lace
Lace is hard to print. It sits right at the top of the paper's range, so I printed this one on a grade two filter to keep the detail, then bleached the highlights back a touch after fixing.
