I learned to print before I learned to shoot.
My grandfather ran a portrait studio in Leith, and I spent Saturdays in his darkroom rocking trays of developer long before anyone let me near a camera.
I have photographed weddings since 2014, always on film. I take about twenty a year so that I have time to develop and print every one of them myself. If you want four thousand digital files the next morning, I am not the right photographer. If you want a box of prints your grandchildren will argue over, I would love to hear from you.
