The brief

Pine and Pilot are building a route planner for hillwalkers. Existing tools show distance and height, but nobody tells you whether you will finish before it gets dark.

What we did

Tomas ran eighteen interviews on trails and in cafes. Every screen starts from the answer: a big time-left figure, then the route. The map is secondary and loads offline.

How it went

We are at the halfway point. Prototypes are being tested on a real hill every Saturday.

What changed

The first release is planned for spring.
